Online Ordering FAQs
Below are some of are common questions about ordering online.
An order confirmation email gets sent to your provided email address as soon as your order has be placed.
If you do not recieve this email do let us know.
If your order has already been dispatched we are unable to change the address.
Sadly, we are unable to send our delicious treats out of mainland UK.
We aim to dispatch all orders from our bakery in 2-4 working days. Some products have specifc dispatch days so check out the descriptions before purchasing.
We use a next day delivery service on all perishiable items, and Royal Mail for non-perishible. Read through our delivery information page for more details.
If you miss a delivery attempt the couriers will leave a card with further instructions.
During the colder months we advise the couriers to the leave parcel in a safe place or with neighbours if there is no one home.
During the hotter months we advise the couriers to leave the order with neighbours. Due to the nature of our items we don't like leaving the parcels outside in the summer.
It depends on how far long the process your order is. Contact our team for help trying to cancel or change your order.
If we can successfully cancel your order, we can issue a full refund.
Our products have a shorter best before date than others you may find elsewhere. We try to use as little preservatives as possible, in some cases none at all! All our products are labelled with a best before date which is a guideline of when they tastes best, but can still be enjoyed for a short while after.
Though it would be lovely if our products lasted longer, we don't want to affect the great taste and recipes everyone has been enjoying over the last 100 or so years.
